Our fundraising for 2011 has finished, and you can read about how this has been allocated in the page Funds January 2012. Our ambition is to raise a similar amount each year, by a combination of events and donations by sponsors and general donations - see below. Our main event in 2012 will be our Table Quiz Night. which will take place in the Portmarnock Sports & Leisure Centre, Portmarnock, on Saturday 12th of May 2012 at 8.00 p.m. Read more ..... Throughout the year, there are many sporting occasions (i.e. the Marathon, Ladies Marathon, Sponsored cycles, runs, swims etc.) which people use to raise money for their favourite charity. If you are taking plart in any such event you may wish to consider the Cyril Duncan Siam Children's Foundation as a worthy cause. In November 2008, Barbara Heffernan ran the New York City Marathon, raising funds for the Cyril Duncan Siam Children's Foundation. Read her account of the big day.
